I parked at a free public parking space on the street at 6820 E 5th Ave (Indian School Rd). Started hike at the Arizona Canal at 68th Street and Indian School Rd. Hiked west to 64th Street. 64th Street I crossed Indian School Road (south). Hiked the Cross Cut Canal at Indian School Rd + 64th Street south to McDowell Rd. I turned around at McDowell Rd and returned the same route. Three busy street crossings: Indian School Rd at 68th St + 64th St + Thomas Rd. Temperature: 89 F at the start and 82 F when I finished. No police on patrol. Hike, run, bike, walk at your own risk.
