Saturday afternoon at about 1:30 PM a twin engine Diamond Aircraft Twinstar airplane landed at the Scottsdale Airport without its landing gear deployed, according to Scottsdale Police. This caused extensive damage to the underside of the aircraft but no damage to the runway. The runway and taxi ways were closed for approximately 2 hours during the investigation. Police say there were no injuries.

The FAA is handling the investigation.
